The conference will be held at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT on Thursday, May 4. Conference proceedings will be held in the Usdan University Center. Wesleyan is accessible by car, and there is a visitor parking lot next to 70 Wyllys Avenue, across the street from the Usdan Center, or on the streets around campus. On Friday, May 5, the conference will convene at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Our morning sessions will take place in the Beinecke Library, and our afternoon sessions at the Whitney Humanities Center. New Haven is accessible by Amtrak, MetroNorth train, and car. Information on parking options in New Haven can be found here.
There are a number of hotel options in the Middletown-New Haven area. If you’d like suggestions or assistance organizing your stay, feel free to get in touch with the conference organizers. We will also do our best to help coordinate local transportation to and between the two campuses–please keep us informed of your travel plans.
